
Michael Kurtz
Michael Kurtz is a veteran technologist with over 30 years of experience building advanced software systems in the healthcare and retail sectors. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.
Before joining MemComputing, Michael was Director of Software Engineering at Automated Retail Technologies, where he led the development of intelligent systems for automated vending platforms. His earlier leadership roles at Pyxis Corporation (now part of Becton Dickinson) and Bridge Medical (now part of AmerisourceBergen) positioned him at the forefront of clinical software innovation—most notably contributing to the original design of Barcode Point of Care (BPOC) technology and core systems integration architecture.
